Wondering around picking out spots that strike you, checking for the good light, setting up strobes and adjusting gear is all part of the fun. Sometimes you really get involved, you get in the “zone”. Well I was “in the zone” this day so much so that I left my camera bag in the street downtown. Shot some different spots then moved across town to another location. After shooting for a while I decided it was time to replace the batteries in my transmitter. Looking around I don’t see my bag…anywhere. The blood drops from my face as I realize I’ve left it in the street downtown! Not a huge deal really, just about $15,000.00 in gear sitting unattended in the street. My life saver mother races back to town and hunts it down. Thank God she found it. What a way to start a session! Honest people do exist in this world and to the unknown persons that didn’t run off with it, a huge Thank You!
As the weather changed and the sun started to drop in the sky, it created some really great atmosphere for photos. God is good, all the time.
